The Challenge
The Robbins Company is the world's foremost developer and manufacturer of underground construction machinery. They wanted new brand photography, as well as a way to maintain brand consistency while undergoing global expansion. They were currently working under Manhattan, and asked us to film there in order to highlight the challenges of tunneling in an urban area.
The Solution
We developed a Style Guide to serve as the creative roadmap and to establish a standard for brand-alignment in Robbins’ new geographies. Robbins selected a photographer from our global photography network who specializes in low-light and challenging locations. Logistics, a complicated permit process, and local union #147 were navigated; filming began at 4:00 a.m. two miles underground.
The Result
Robbin’s marketing director, Brianna Home, chose 30 images. “I had a hard time envisioning a shot list that would add to our library. My goal was to update our collateral with fresh ideas not yet seen by our industry. OnRequest not only helped come up with new concepts, but also made the entire shoot very easy for me.”
