The Challenge
The City of Seattle's Department of Transportation (SDOT) had an initative to stimulate public discussion on the considerable impact commuters have when selecting their daily mode of transportation. To create the imagery for the campaign, a compex, large-scale photo shoot would need to be produced on downtown city streets. Due to the incredibly complicated logistics, they needed a photo shoot producer who could make the seemingly impossible, possible.
The Solution
Our photography production services team turned SDOT's logistical and creative nightmare around and delivered a customized, efficient solution. We organized a 200 commuter-cast on two city blocks and photographed them in a variety of transportation modes. After the photography was completed, OnRequest Images' post-production experts retouched the campaigns images. The images selected by SDOT were schedule to appear in a variety of media, including city and transit websites, billboards and buses, so multiple file sizes and formats were required.
The Results
"This project was a great example of OnRequest Images' ability to manage the thousand little details it takes to make an image worth a thousand words, " said Nicole Matthews, OnRequest Images Vice President of Production. "Thanks to our years of experience with challenging assignments, and our workflow and collaboration platform, OnPro, we were able to effectively and efficiently deliver stunning imagery that commuters in the greater Seattle area have responded."
